Biography & Education
This is my sixth year as an educator, fourth year as a school librarian! I feel so blessed to be able to put books in the hands of our students! I will do my best to help make reading a daily part of our students' lives. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns please contact me. I am so excited to serve our students and school!
After graduating from Anderson County High School, I attended Tennessee Technological University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I received a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Geography and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Library Science.
I completed all of my student teaching in the Cookeville area where I taught Social Studies at the Secondary level, as well as library classes K-12. I taught two years at Clinton Middle School where I taught 8th grade American History. I then decided to pursue my dream of being a school librarian. With that being said, this is my fourth year at Clinton Elementary as the librarian!
