Biography & Education

Hello!  I am Terri Kerley and I teach Physical Education!  I have the best job!  I love sports and physical activities.  My hobbies include running, hiking, camping, and gardening.  I also enjoy cooking and most summers I work at Camp Tanasi in the camp kitchen.

I have been at CES for almost 21 years.  Previously, I have subbed in Anderson County schools and taught PE in Etowah and Van Buren County schools.  I have also worked as a family support worker in AC.

I grew up in Jefferson County, TN where most of my family still lives.  I live in Andersonville with my husband, Steve.  We have 3 daughters-all who are educators in different school systems.  Serra also coaches lacrosse for Catholic; Stefanie is the assistant coach for AC lady’s soccer team.

Tennessee Technological University is where I went to college for my bachelor’s degree; Middle Tennessee for my Master’s; Lincoln Memorial for my EDS in administration.  I also have attended the University of Tennessee.

Coaching has always been a dream of mine.  Clinton City Schools has given me the blessed opportunity to coach several sports including basketball, cross country, track and archery (coming soon).  Go Blaze!  I hope that every student discovers an activity or sport that they can do their entire life to stay healthy.
