Bio

Hello! My name is Christin Webb, and I am a 5th grade Math/Science teacher here at Clinton Elementary! This is my 7th year teaching 5th grade, but my very 1st year at Clinton Elementary! I am excited to be here! I previously taught at Adrian Burnett Elementary in Knox County. I have also taught 2nd grade at Adrian Burnett and 6th grade Social Studies at Powell Middle in Knox County. I graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2008 with a degree in Public Relations and Sports Management. A couple years later, I went back to school at Lincoln Memorial University to obtain my teaching liscense and Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.

I am married to my wonderful husband Kyle and we have two children. Our daughter, Mabry Kate, is our guardian angel in Heaven and our son, Owen Baxter, is our warrior hero here on Earth. Both of our children were born with a genetic disease called Krabbe Disease. You can learn more about the disease at huntershope.org. Though our experiences, we have learned that children can teach us more about life without saying a word than any adult can in their whole lifetime.

In my spare time, I love to play golf. I also love basketball and was formerly the head coach of the Varisty girls' basketball team at Powell High School in Knox County. My family is also very active in our church and helping out with the youth group on occasion. I also serve Hunter's Hope Foundation in connecting with families who have children suffering from the same or similar diseases as my own children have.

I am very excited to be a part of the Clinton City Schools family this year! I cannot wait to see what this year has in store!
