Hello! My name is Lauren Murphy. I am the 6th Grade ELA teacher at Clinton Elementary School. This will be my 11th year teaching at CES. During my senior year of college at Tennessee Tech University, my student teaching placement was at Clinton Elementary, and I instantly knew that this was where I wanted to pursue my career. My grandmother, mom, dad, sister, uncle, two aunts, and two cousins are all teachers as well. People have always joked that teaching must run in the Murphy blood, and I think that they are right! I absolutely love my job, my students, and my coworkers. I also obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay State University. Other than teaching, I am very passionate about sports. I am a Blaze Basketball Coach/Blaze Basketball Athletic Director and an Assistant Softball Coach at Clinton High School.
