I teach fourth grade Math and Science. I am looking forward to a great year and cannot wait to get to know my new students!

I am originally from Greeneville, Tennessee, but I have lived in Clinton for many years. I am married to Tim, and we have two daughters. Claudia is an engineer in Knoxville. Abby is a junior nursing major at UT. Both of my daughters attended Clinton Elementary from kindergarten through sixth grade, so this school holds a special place in my heart! It is a wonderful place for students to grow and learn. 

I have a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University and a Masters of Education from Tusculum University. I worked for several years as an environmental consultant, and then spent some time at home with my girls. After substitute teaching for a few years at CES, I decided to go back to school to become a teacher. I am so happy I made the decision to change careers! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, exercising, and hiking.
